The starting point

byeagain turns product returns into new revenue: as a refurbishment-as-a-service platform, the company handles the complete lifecycle of returns for retailers and manufacturers – assessment, refurbishment and resale through marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, Allegro and Refurbed.

What sounds simple in a pitch is hard work on the warehouse floor: every product is a special case. Assess the condition, make a decision, refurbish, photograph, list – thousands of times, across many categories. As volume grew, every extra click at a workstation became a scaling problem.

Our approach

We designed the warehouse operations from the process, not from the tool: what physically happens to an item, and which information needs to be captured at which moment?

The result: friction-free workstations for warehouse staff – web apps that do exactly one thing well: make the next step in the refurbishment process as fast and error-free as possible. Scanning instead of typing, suggestions instead of free text, clear decision paths instead of edge cases.

What we built

  • Workstation apps for warehouse operations – optimized for scanners, keyboards and speed, not for mice and menus.
  • Automated workflows from goods-in through condition assessment to sale approval.
  • Marketplace integration – captured once, listed on multiple channels, without duplicate work.
  • A clean data foundation – every item findable at any time, every process step traceable.

The result

The workstations make refurbishment operationally possible at industrial scale: more items per shift, fewer errors, and a process that scales with byeagain’s growth – measurable in daily operations, not just on slides.
